Hi I'm Jodi and I'm going to keep it real with you. My path to get here has been a winding one. I didn't go to school for design. In fact, my degree is in psychology (more on that in a bit). Style House came to be because of my own struggles as a business owner. I have more than twenty years of true entrepreneurship under my belt. I have started and sold a few businesses in my forty plus years of life. Each one preparing me for what I'd one day do. So, when I say I've been just where you are, I mean it. For all intents and purposes, a solopreneur with a super tight budget, forcing me to wear all the hats- marketing director, website builder, social media team, graphic designer, and the list goes on. And on. And on. I taught myself how to do every single thing I couldn't afford to hire out. And it turns out, I was quite good at them. When I went into brand photography in 2019, a relatively new concept at the time, I recognized quickly that my clients needed help implementing their new branding images in a way that could help elevate their presence online. The brand photography naturally led into brand and web design and content creation- each component supporting the other. That psychology degree and straight A's I got in neurobiology came in quite useful as I taught myself all about neuromarketing, the psychology of color, and all the other psychological aspects that help increase sales. No more throwing things at the wall and seeing what sticks. I will help walk you through the process of building a brand and website that uses science and very specific strategy and positioning to connect with your ideal buyer.
